Robert Kazinsky has revealed how he got his role in Duncan Jones' upcoming video game-based film "Warcraft."
Kazinsky is set to play Orgrim Doomhammer in Jones' "Warcraft" and things happened during the set of Gullermo del Toro's "Pacific Rim," in which he played Australian Jaeger pilot Chuck Hansen. It was a slow filming day so he got out his laptop to play "Warcraft."
Kazinsky told Cinema Blend that he was sitting next to Jillian Share from Legendary and he whipped out his computer, with "Warcraft" popping up. Share asked him if he knew what he was doing and he replied that he had no idea and asked her what she was talking about. At that point, Share told him that she and the production had been making "Warcraft."
After that, Kazinsky mentioned about two years of "harassing" Share. According to Cinema Blend, Kazinsky would have bugged Share about the film's development and had regularly asked for updates, seeing a script, and to be somehow involved. The actor then recorded an audition for Jones and met the director. Then, he now stands as one of the lead Orc roles in the film.
