Manchester United (2-1-1, 7 points) and PSV Eindhoven (2-2-0, 6 points) meet for the second time in the 2015-2016 UEFA Champions League Group B competitions at the Old Trafford in Manchester, England on November 25th.
Aside from the Red Devils losing their Champions League opener to PSV, 1-2, the two team's first game will be remembered because of the horrific double leg fracture suffered by United left back Luke Shaw off a slide tackle by Mexican defender Hector Moreno in the first half of the match.
Former Boeren player Memphis Depay struck first at the 41st minute after a long delay, but Moreno equalized it right before halftime. Winger Luciano Narsingh scored the winner at the 57th to compound Louis van Gaal's disappointment that day.
United is coming off a 1-0 nipping of CSKA Moscow also at the Old Trafford on November 3rd to gain their second win of the competitions and top Group B with 7 points, as per SkySports.
Wayne Rooney provided the lone goal of the match 11 minutes before full time to lead the English giants to the tight victory.
Meanwhile, the Dutch club avenged their 0-2 loss to Wolfsburg at the Volkswagen Arena with their own 2-0 win at the Philips Stadion in Eindhoven last November 3, via Goal.
Strikers Jürgen Locadia and Luuk de Jong poured the goals in the second half to give Phillip Cocu's also their second win of the group stage. United leads the group via a point gained from their 1-1 draw with CSKA last October 21.
This match between the Red Devils and the Peasants will again be a close one, but this time van Gaal's boys will prevail.
The prediction is a 1-0 payback for Manchester United.
