After her unexpected win over UFC women's bantamweight champion Ronda Rousey, the new champ Holly Holm agreed with UFC President Dana White to hold a rematch. At a press conference after the match at Melburne's Etihad Stadium, Holm says, "Rematch makes sense for sure."

There is no set date yet for the rematch, but Holm said it could be held whenever Rousey wants it, reports The Herald Sun. Holm would receive $100,000 bonus for "fight of the night" and "performance of the night" for knocking out Rousey in the second round.

The whole UFC world was shocked since until Saturday night, Rousey has a zero loss record and finished her opponents in seconds. The knockout resulted in Rousey suffering a split lower lip that she was taken to a hospital for treatment, White discloses at the press conference.

White says the Rousey-Holm fight was the biggest upset in UFC history which makes matches both "fun" and "crazy."

But Holm admits her opponent was tough since she also suffered a broken hand which makes it necessary to take a few months off. During the press conference, Holm was holding an ice pack which she pressed on her right eyebrow.

Holm admits she cried so many times in the gym preparing for the fight in which she was the underdog. She is aware that Rousey was the most dominant athlete, so when she did not performed well during her training, she went afterward to her car and cried, telling herself that if she does not up her game, she stood no chance of winning against Rousey.

Holm adds that she also was surprised that the fight ended so early. "If you don't take the chance in front of you, how would you really expect to get somewhere?"
