Ronda Rousey lost her UFC title after Holly Holm surprised her and knocked her out at UFC 193. Rousey took to Instagram as posted a message for her followers.
"I just wanted to thank everyone for the love and support. I appreciate the concerns about my health, but I'm fine. As I had mentioned before, I'm going to take a little bit of time, but I'll be back," Rousey posted the message on Instagram.
Holly Holm a.k.a. The Preacher's Daughter proved to be one of the best fighters Rousey has faced. In the first minute of the fight, Holm proved that it will not be an easy one for the most dominated fighter. Rousey chased Holm in the cage, but Holm's calm worked for her.
Rousey even tried to armbar her opponent, but it did not work. The 59th second of round two was it when Holm landed a left high kick that took down the champion.
Holm made it clear that in the world of mixed martial arts, a champion can be taken down.
Meanwhile, Rousey haters took to social media to celebrate her loss. Donald Trump tweeted that he was glad that Rousey lost the championship fight.
"Glad to see @RondaRousey lost her championship fight last night. Was soundly beaten - not a nice person!"
Earlier, Rousey took a shot at Trump by saying that she wouldn't vote for him.
"I just really wouldn't trust the guy with running my country, that's all. ... I'm not really going to get into specifics of it, but, I mean, I don't want a reality TV star to be running my country," Rousey said to CNN.
