"Kingdom Hearts 3" will feature more Disney worlds, returning characters from the main series and new Final Fantasy heroes within the sequel.
Square Enix game director Tetsuya Nomura teased gaming fans of several returning characters in from the main series into "Kingdom Hearts 3". The game only had Sora, Goofy and Donald in the game and it will not be long before other characters such as Kairi, Riku, King Mickey etc. could make an appearance soon, Franchise Herald reported. Nomura added that their is also a villain returning to game series as fans are aware that Master Xehanort and new Organization XIII will be there to face Sora and his friends soon. One of these returning villains is rumored to be Marluxia, the 11th member of Organization XIII, who was betrayed by Axel during "Kingdom Hearts: Chain of Memories".
Aside from the returning characters, there are also new worlds to announce very soon as "Tangled", "Hercules" and "Big Hero 6" have already been confirmed to be part of "Kingdom Hearts 3". "Toy Story" will likely be included in the game as well due to the image of Sora's new summoned attraction flow that features Buzz Lightyear's Astro Blasters, thus hinting the possibility the Pixar character are part of the game.
Other rumored Disney worlds that gaming fans wanted to see includes "The Jungle Book", The Fox and the Hound", "Wreck-It Ralph", "Brave" and "Frozen", Youth Health reported.
Game co-director Tai Yasue stated that there is a possibility that "Marvel" and "Star Wars" worlds could be added in the game as Yasue explained that anything is possible with the right planning, development the knowledge that both franchises are owned by Disney.
Lastly, there are also new Final Fantasy characters that are rumored to join the game. These heroes include Snow Villiers, Vincent Valentine, Noctis, Balthier, Fran and Warrior of Light.
Square Enix added that the third instalment will also feature other playable characters that gamers can control besides Sora, as well as multiplayer gameplay.
"Kingdom Hearts 3" launch date is speculated to be sometime in 2017 for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One consoles.
