Erstwhile league leader Villarreal CF (6-3-2, 20 points) will try to get out from its current rut when it tackles surprise team SD Eibar (5-2-4, 19 points) at the Estadio El Madrigal on Sunday, November 22nd as the 2015-2016 La Liga season moves forward.
Villarreal, who was briefly on top of the league table five weeks ago, is on a downward spiral drawing one and losing three of its last six matches to drop to fifth place in the league table.
Their last match was a 0-3 thrashing in the hands of current league leaders FC Barcelona at the Camp Nou on November 8th as the unstoppable duo of Neymar and Luis Suárez were at it again for Barça, as reported by SkySports.
Meanwhile, Eibar is presently on a two-game winning run and have lost only a single game in their last six outings to settle for sixth place and trail Villarreal by only a point in the overall standings.
Los Armeros eased past lowly club Getafe, 3-1, at the Estadio Municipal de Ipura on November 7th for their second consecutive victory, as per Sports Mole.
Spanish forward Sergi Enrich had a brace in the first half hour of the match while striker Saúl Berjón added one with a penalty kick in the second half to carve out the three-goal haul for José Luis Mendilibar's squad.
Despite their recent struggles, Marcelino's men are predicted to win this match against Eibar at their home field this Sunday to pull off a much-needed inspirational win to get them back on track.
The prediction is a tough 2-1 win for Villarreal.
