The latest Google Android version, the Android Marshmallow was recently released for LG G4. The tech giant is now in the process of releasing it for LG G3.
According to All Android News, the Android Marshmallow testing for the LG G3 is in its final phase. If everything goes according to the plan, LG may release the update for LG G3 before the end of December.
LG G3 was updated to Android Lollipop 5.0.2 back in December 2014. It never got the Android Lollipop 5.1.1 update after that. It is obvious that the South Korean tech giant will directly upgrade LG G3 with the latest Android Marshmallow operating system.
The update will start to get rolled out with Poland and will expand to other regions. The same pattern was followed in the roll out process for LG G4.
Android Marshmallow update comes with a new and innovative Doze power saving feature. In this feature, when the device is in the sleep mode, this feature will automatically put the applications in the sleep state.
This new feature of the Android Marshmallow update will increase the standby battery life of the smart phone. This feature is capable of extending the battery life of the device to at least 30 percent. This upgrade will also bring a lot of changes in the material design of the device.
It will bring new icons and also new animations along with it. The device will experience a faster response as well. It will also fix the issue of Stage Fright 2.0 vulnerability, according to BGR.
