The dual-screen flip-phone features curved outer panel design on the bottom half, similar to the Galaxy S6 and Galaxy Note 5. Similar antenna bands on dual-screen flip-phone's outer edge can also be seen. The handset includes a T9-style keyboard with square directional pad and other functional keys such as home, back, and multi-task on either side, GSM Arena reported. The rear camera setup design is also the same as ones featured by the flagship Galaxy smartphones.

SM-W2016 will run under Android 5.1.1 Lollipop and will be powered by octa-core Exynos 7420 processor clocked at 2.1GHz. It will feature 3GB of RAM paired with 64GB of internal storage. The device will sport a 16MP rear camera, and 5MP front-facing camera. It has two identical screens (one outside the flip, one inside), 3.9-inch Super AMOLEDs with 768 x 1,280px resolution (383ppi).

The leaked images also revealed a SIM switch button, suggesting this is a dual-SIM phone. It will also support 4G LTE for calls. Design-wise it looks a like the lovechild of a Samsung Galaxy S6 and older popular flip phone designs such as the Moto Razr.

SM-W2016 can be popular with people who prefer physical keyboards to those that pop up on a screen. Samsung's rival LG recently revealed an Android flip phone called the LG Wine Smart, according to Daily Mail
