Ash, Pikachu and friends are set to meet the mythical Pokemon Hoopa in "Pokemon the Movie: Hoopa and the Clash of Ages" while "Pokemon Z" may be released soon.
"Pokemon the Movie: Hoopa and the Clash of Ages" stars Hoopa, who is capable of summoning things like people and Pokemon through its enchanted rings, according to the official Pokemon website. Ash and his friends will learn a tale about a courageous hero who managed to halt the wrath of a terrifying Pokemon in the past.
The raging Pokemon is set to come back again while the threat from it has remained dormant for years. With a possible recurrence of a dangerous even from the past, the fate lies on Ash and his friends' hands.
Hoopa was previously reported to be the key to the appearance of other legendary Pokemons in the movie, including Groudon and Kyogre in their primal forms, along with a shiny Mega Rayquaza. The legendaries are reported to be either allies or enemies to save the Pokemon world from the raging Hoopa.
In other news, the "Pokemon Z" release date will be revealed in the December issue of the Coro Coro Magazine, according to iDigital Times. The publication noted that the said issue of the magazine usually contains information with regard to upcoming "Pokemon" films but it could be different this time.
It is said that "Pokemon Z" is set to be released together with the forthcoming "Pokemon GO" on Feb. 27, 2016, which is aligned with the 20th anniversary of the "Pokemon" franchise.
"Pokemon Z" will be a sequel to "Pokemon X" and "Pokemon Y," which were released it is also expected that the game will feature the dragon-ground type Zygarde, the third legendary Pokemon of the Kalos region. With its five "forms," Zygarde is anticipated to have a notable role in "Pokemon Z", just like its legendary counterparts Xerneas and Yveltal in "Pokemon X" and "Pokemon Y," respectively.
Directed by Kunihiko Yuyama, "Pokemon the Movie: Hoopa and the Clash of Ages" is slated to premiere in theaters in the United States on Dec. 26. On the other hand, "Pokemon Z" and "Pokemon GO" are reported to be released in 2016.
