"The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt" will feature a possible launch date for "Blood and Wine" expansion, patch 1.12 update, a new trailer and DirectX 12 support.
The second expansion pack for "The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt" titled "Blood and Wine" is speculated to be available in the first haft of 2016 around January-June. CD Projekt RED is still discussing the exact launch date for the second expansion pack and assured gaming fans that they will make an announcement soon.
"Blood and Wine" will also feature characters that are found in the books such as the Dutchess of Touissant Anna Henriatta and her cousin Fringello Vigo, one Geralt's former love interest. Community Manager Marcin Momot added that new monsters will be added in the expansion such as Manticore, Stringas and Bruxas, as well as new horse breeds and ModKits, The Christian Post reported.
The storyline for "Blood and Wine" takes place in the Kingdom of Touissant as Geralt will investigate the mysteries within the region as its peaceful atmosphere lies a dark and terrible secret.
In othe news, CD Projekt RED announced the launch date of the new patch 1.12 update sometime next month, Geeksnack reported. Momot has not yet explained the perks of the new patch update, but they will announcing it very soon.
Aside from patch update, a fan asked Momot regarding "The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt's" DirectX 12 support. Momot tweeted his answer to the fan saying that there has been no news about it. Lastly, CD Projekt RED began streaming a new "Epic" trailer for "The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt" as the video highlights all of the game's epic gameplay, characters, quest and its numerous game awards.
"The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt" is currently available in stores for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC platforms.
