"The Big Bang Theory" Season 9 will not be airing the highly anticipated Episode 10 this week, on Nov. 26, 2015. The CBS's long-running sitcom will be taking a brief hiatus after airing an eventful Thanksgiving segment, titled "The Platonic Permutation," last week. The show is expected to resume its run on Dec. 10, 2015 with the segment titled "The Earworm Reverberation." Here is what happens on it.

In Episode 9, Sheldon and Amy reunited on Thanksgiving Day and talked about their dating life. However, Amy's confession about getting back together with him left Sheldon stunned. Meanwhile, Leonard and Penny celebrated their first Thanksgiving together as a married couple. As for Raj, Bernadette, Emily and Howard, they spent their holiday volunteering at the soup kitchen.

According to the leaked information for the upcoming segment, fans can expect to see an important moment between Sheldon and Amy. As noted by International Business Times, Sheldon and Amy will reconcile and get back together.
It is said that tune of a Beach Boys song makes Sheldon realise that how important Amy is to him and she has done a lot for him. Sheldon rushes to Amy in an attempt to make amends with her and accept her proposal that he rejected earlier.
When he reaches Amy's place, Sheldon reportedly finds Amy and Dave kissing each other. But Sheldon doesn't shy from interrupting their intimate moment and says that "Amy is the Earworm in his heart." He explains that it means that he is in love with Amy. The report notes that the show closes with Sheldon and Amy confessing their love for each other and getting back together.
Meanwhile, Cartermatt teases the appearance of the ghost of Professor Proton in "The Big Bang Theory" Season 9 Episode 10. It is said that Bob Newhart will reprise the role of Arthur Jefferies, who happens to be Sheldon's childhood role model. In his supernatural form, Professor Proton is expected to help Sheldon make some decisions related to his relationship with Amy.
