Miranda Lambert, 32 has finally voiced her thoughts on her divorce from Blake Shelton, 39.
In her interview with the Cosmopolitan Magazine, Lambert said that marriage is a tough business and they had given it their best college try, which indicates that the "Somethin' Bad" singer is still processing everything. Lambert said that she had had a great relationship with an amazing man and she knew what good was. For the singer, she had a great launching pad for the future and he would never take that for granted.
Lambert split up from Shelton in early July and neither of them revealed to the public what went wrong, which remains a mystery until now, ET Online reported. According to the publication, the couple's quick divorce had been barely a done deal before Shelton had entered a relationship with Stefani.
According to Lambert, she just wanted to live a full life at the moment. For her, this might mean nights on her porch crying, drinking whiskey, and going. The singer also said that playing music made her feel the sexiest and what she was wearing necessarily or where she was at was not really an issue. For Lambert, being on stage with her band playing music gave her a sense of belongingness and a feeling of being sexy.
As of now, Lambert has just appeared on stage with her friend Ashley Monroe while Shelton is romantically linked to his "The Voice" co-star Stefani.
The next issue of the Cosmopolitan Magazine hits newsstands on Dec. 3.
