Leaked screenshots of Samsung Galaxy S6 with the latest Android Marshmallow update show a slightly redesigned TouchWiz UI with more white space.
A recently leaked roadmap for the Samsung devices revealed that Samsung Galaxy S6 will soon receive the Android Marshmallow update. The rumors states that this upgrade is currently under the testing phase. It is also rumored that the official roll out will begin next month onwards, for Samsung Galaxy S6, according to All Android News.
It is reported that Samsung Galaxy Note 5 will receive the Android Marshmallow update this month. A lot of screenshots were also leaked earlier showing the changes incurred by installing the Android Marshmallow OS update.
Similarly, a few screenshots were leaked that showcase the possible changes which will come to the Galaxy S6 device after the upgrade is installed. According to GSM Arena, the feature of Touch Wiz looks really similar to the one found in Galaxy Note 5. This implies that the feature of Touch Wiz will be simplified for Galaxy S6 though the Android Marshmallow upgrade.
Following in the footsteps of Apple, Samsung is also trying to flatten its interface. The South Korean tech giant is trying to flatten the gradients, the 3D shadows, the drop shadows, and the interface overlays in its material design through the upcoming Android Marshmallow upgrade.
The company is also trying to do away with the notification bar from the Touch Wiz, which is very unpopularly. One thing is for sure, the Touch Wiz will become more stylish and less boring after the upgrade.
In addition, the upgrade will add more icons to the menu, more utility to the main drop menu, and also get the support for many enhanced features.
