Former "Baywatch" star Pamela Anderson, 48, talked about how she bared it all in the final issue of the adult magazine owned by Hugh Hefner, 89.
Anderson is set to grace the cover of the January-February 2016 issue of the Playboy magazine. The model-turned actress was approached by representatives of the magazine for the project.
In an interview with Entertainment Tonight, Anderson said, "I got a call from [Hugh Hefner's] attorney who said, 'We don't want anybody else. There's nobody else, could you do the last cover of Playboy?"
According to Anderson, she revealed that she consulted her sons before she decided to do it. She added that there is mutual respect between her and Hefner and after years of working for the magazine, she said that she never thought that she will be asked to pose again.
"He's such a sweetheart and he's just been such a big part of my life," Anderson said of the Playboy founder.
Under direction of famed photographer Ellen Von Unwerth, Anderson made sure that she definitely made the most out of it. She explained, "I took off all my clothes, and I rolled down the hill as fast as I can. I was just screaming, and hair and boobs were flying, and shoes were going everywhere."
The cover is backed by a full spread 12-page pictorial on the inside and an interview of Anderson with James Franco. The issue will be the last Playboy magazine to feature images of nude women on glossy pages after Hefner announced last October the decision to stop publishing such images due to a plethora of free pornography online.
The first time Anderson graced the Playboy magazine cover was in 1989. The last and latest issue will be her 15th appearance, making her the record holder for most appearances on the cover of Playboy magazine.
