Earlier reports suggested that the Apple iPad Air 3 will be released in March next year. However, according to new reports, Apple iPad Air 3 will be released in October 2016.
According to an International Business Times report, iPad Air 3 will not launch in March 2016. For the last several months, Apple iPad Air 3 has failed to show up in any tech event.
Rumors are doing the rounds that the tech company may choose to forgo releasing the new iPad Air 3 in early next year and may focus on 12-inch MacBook instead.
The new laptop is expected to have a USB Type-C port, a Retina display and a Force Touch-ready track pad.
Apple iPad Air 3, on the other hand, will feature a 9.7-inch Retina display with a resolution of 3112 x 2334 pixels. Rumors are doing the rounds that the new device will be even slimmer at 5 mm that will make it 1.1 mm slimmer than the Apple iPad Air 2.
However, iPad Air 3 will have a smaller battery capacity. Also, it will come with a dust-resistant and waterproof display. The upcoming tablet will be powered by an A9 or A9X processor and will have 2 GB or 4 GB of RAM.
Furthermore, Apple iPad Air 3 is expected to have a 2.1 MP front-facing camera and an 8 MP rear-facing camera, according to Macworld. The new device will come with 16 GB or 128 GB of storage. It will be offered in three colors - gold, silver and space grey.
However, Apple has not confirmed these rumors.
