It is speculated that Android Marshmallow will roll out for LG G4 in United States and United Kingdom by the end of December.
The Android Marshmallow update for LG G4 was recently released in Europe through the LG Bridge desktop software. The owners who reside in the US will soon get this update as well, according to Tech Times. The device started to get this upgrade last month in Poland.
The LG G4 owners can also look forward to get this update before the end of this year. And if all works out well, all the handsets of LG G4 will be upgraded to Android Marshmallow before the end of this year, all across the world. To install the current version of this update in Europe, the users will need to download the LG Bridge PC and install it in their devices.
Android Marshmallow will enhance the battery life of LG G4 and also bring in radical changes to the usability of the device, according to BGR.
Google's current flag ship smart phones, the LG Nexus 5X and The Huawei Nexus 6P, were the first devices to get the Android Marshmallow out of the box. In light of this, LG G4 was the first device apart from the Nexus family to get this update. In spite of a slight delay, the device started to get the OTA update in Poland last month.
Other flagship devices under Samsung and HTC are also beginning to get the update. Samsung also shared its list of device which will soon be getting the Android Marshmallow update.
The schedule and the ETA for a few devices was also revealed. Some of these devices are The Samsung Galaxy Note 5, The Samsung S6 Edge+, The Samsung S6 Edge along with The Samsung S6. In addition, Samsung is expected to start the roll out the OTA update in this month for Samsung Galaxy Note 5.
