Google's Pixel C Android tablet is now available for purchase at the company's online store.
The tablet was announced in September and is the first Android tablet device to be developed solely by Google alone, unlike other Nexus devices, according to GSM Arena.
The Pixel C is available in two versions. The first version packs 32GB of built-in memory storage and costs about $499, while the second version comes with 64GB memory and a price tag of $599.
In addition, the two versions come with an attachable keyboard dock for an additional $149. The keyboard weighs about 399 grams with a 242 x 179 x 5.5mm measurement, and features wireless charging capability, according to Google.
The Pixel C weighs about 517 grams and measures 242 x 179 x 7 mm in dimensions. In terms of the design, it sports an anodized aluminum body and is available in silver color only. Specs-wise, the tablet sports a 10.2-inch LTPS LCS display touchscreen with a 2,560 x 1,800 pixel resolution (308 ppi density).
As for the camera, the device has an 8 megapixel snapper on the back and a 2 megapixel shooter on the front. It runs on the Android 6.0 Marshmallow operating system and is powered by Nvidia's Tegra X1 processor along with a quad-core CPU and a 256-core Maxwell graphics processing unit.
The processor is accompanied by 3GB of RAM and a 34.2 Wh battery. Other specs include support for Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth 4.1, and USB-Type C port connectivity for charging.
