New "Transformers 5" details will feature new Autobots and Decepticon characters, as well as two separate storylines for the sequel.
It seems that the plot for "Transformers 5" will be divided ed into two separate storylines as film writer Akiva Goldsmans stated in an interview that interaction between the Transformers and human race is important to the franchise, IGN reported
Part 1 of the film will focus on the "Age of Extinction" character Cade Yeager (Mark Wahlberg) and the rest of the Autobots from earth as they combat a new Decepticon threat and will give audiences a chance to see how Yeager's relationship with them improves. Part 2 on the other hand, will focus on Optimus Prime's journey through space in order to seek out the his creators and it is heavily speculated that Quintessons are the Transformers maker, as well as the film's main antagonists.
Goldsman added that "Transformers 5" will be the starting point for possible sequels, potential crossovers and even an animated prequel story depicting the early history of Transformers race before the great civil war in Cybertron. Goldsman stated that they are looking for more storyline concepts for the "Transformers" film franchise by using materials from comic books, novels and even the latest toyline, teasing a "Prime Wars" and "Beast Wars" storyline in future projects.
Aside from the film's possible plot details, there are also new characters being introduced in "Transformers 5" as Ultra Magnus, Red Alert and Override represent the new line of Autobots, while Scourge, Blitzwing and Cyclonus will join Galvatron's new Decepticon army, MovieNewsGuide reported.
"TMNT 2" star Megan Fox is also teased to return to "Transformers 5" as she and director Michael Bay make amends after a huge dispute that put Fox out of "Transformers: Dark of the Moon".
"San Andreas" star Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson and "Die Hard" star Bruce Willis are also rumored to be cast in the film. Both men appeared in another Hasbro toyline film, "G.I. Joe: Retaliation" prompting to a possible "Transformers" and "G.I. Joe" crossover.
"Transformers 5" movie is scheduled to be release in cinemas on 2017.
