J.J. Abrams' space sci-fi film "Star Wars: Episode VII - The Force Awakens" is coming to theaters soon and in line with this, it appears that the new Chinese trailer presents new spoilers.
According to Cinema Blend, while the Chinese trailer might not actually spoil anything at all; however, it just gave fans new tidbits fo information that act like pieces of puzzle to Abrams' "Star Wars: Episode VII - The Force Awakens."
The trailer opened with EXO's Lu Han, who was holding a lightsaber. Then, it is follwed by a scene showing an attack on Jakku, plus the assembly of the Stormtroopers. Kylo Ren can also be heard in a voice over, saying that he would finish what someone, presumably Darth Vader, had started.
The trailer also saw a conversation between the lead character Rey and the android BB-8. The latter told Rey that it came from "classified," which was the same place of origin for Rey. The next scene saw an attack with Rey and Finn running, which has been already seen before.
The succeeding scenes featured aerial battles, including the Millenium Falcon's unexpected landing in the snow. In addition, the trailer also saw a lightsaber battle between Finn and Kylo Ren, with the latter not wearing his helmet in one of the scene.
According to rumors, Ren's back looked like Adam Driver's that Mark Hamill's, so it is assumed that Hamill's Luke Skywalker's role in the film is still kept in wraps.
With the new scenes in the "Star Wars" Chinese trailer, another question raised is Rey's ability to understand BB-8. It was suggested in the trailer that BB-8 just showed up, yet the robot could be understood by Rey. This portion of the trailer paints a difference from Skywalker's X-Wing computer to translate R2-D2's language for him.
Aside from the ringed planet, Han Solo flying the Falcon, Rey and Finn joining forces, and Ren's dialogue, the Chinese trailer for Abrams' "Star Wars: Episode VII - The Force Awakens" is a "very straightforward" one, as per Deadline.
"Star Wars: Episode VII - The Force Awakens" is set 30 years after the events in the "Return of Jedi." It showcases an ensemble of both old and new heroes and villains played by Daisy Ridley, John Boyega, Oscar Isaac, Gwendoline Christie, Simon Pegg, Max von Sydow, Domhnall Gleeson, Adam Driver, Mark Hamill, Harriso Ford, and Carrie Fisher, among others.
