Ford Taurus sedan has dropped on its sales this year while Ford launched a new Taurus to be sold in China last month.
Taurus sedan has dropped its sales over 27% this 2015 through the month of November as an inquiry is asked if Ford Taurus is this year's worst Ford vehicle, The Motley Fool reported.
Ford Taurus sedan's massive drop is due to the buyers backing off from sedans and preferring the latest crossover SUVs, the report said.
While Ford Taurus sedan experienced its drop out sales this year, other auto manufacturers also had its sale drop including Toyota's Avalon and General Motors Chevrolet Impala, the report added.
Meanwhile, Ford had released its new Taurus to be sold in China last November.
The target market of this new Ford Taurus includes the Chinese businesspeople who usually tale the back seat with hired drivers. This new Taurus, which is available in China, has features including seat recline, optional massage seats and a fold-down center panel with air condition and media controller, the report said.
While there is a massive drop of its Taurus, it can be noted that Ford Motor Company Del had shortened shares increased at 1.2% after market selling, Financial Magazine reported.
Ford stock had increased of 1.2% with short interest of 73.17 million shares this December, the report said.
Moreover, Ford now own shares of 2.26 billion or 2.80% which is higher than the 2.20 billion shares of this year's second quarter, the report added.
