A petition to deny Donald Trump entry to the UK has become the most signed on the parliament's website, and Donald has claimed he will sign an executive order allowing death penalty for all convicted cop killers.
According to Independent, all this follows a week of controversial rhetoric from Donald who is a Republican presidential hopeful. Donald on Monday claimed if he were elected as a president, he would order a complete shutdown of all Muslim immigration to the US. It sparked a week-long global row with media coverage domination and have seen Trump recover in the polls, after an earlier Monmouth poll where he fell behind Ted.
He even went ahead and mentioned that some parts of London and Paris are so radicalized to an extent of making it difficult for the local Police to enter there, earning withering denials from the Metropolitan police and British politicians.
Following his statement, a petition was passed to ban him from entering the UK since such behavior is not acceptable and not in good taste. Turns out for any petition to be considered in the Parliament, about 100,000 signatures are required. The petition until now has received over half a million signatures and is hosted on the Parliament website, MovieNews reported.
Sir Peter Westmacott, the British Ambassador to the US, broke diplomatic rules and took Trump to task due to his Anti-Muslim comments. In his statement, he claimed that someone called Trump in the Presidential campaign and spoke about UK, adding that UK has a big Muslim problem.
The Ambassador, Peter Westmacott added that the presence of Muslim community in the UK made them proud. With this, Trump broke a major protocol that prevents all Ambassadors from making statements about domestic politics.
Hillary Clinton from the Democrat side, stated that about 3 million Americans are Muslims and they deserve better than Republicans' dangerous and hateful attacks.
An eye is on the Parliament to see if indeed it will pass the petition and ban Donald Trump or not.
