There are already a lot of players who spent money on it. Those who already paid $10 before discovering this free alternative method have already expressed their concerns on the game's subreddit. It is not a surprise why majority of them are requesting for refund.
Meanwhile, Bungie has not left a statement yet with regard to the timetable for the fix when it comes to the multiplayer mode, which opened up to gamers free of charge yesterday. It also added new challenges, loot, and everything in between to the game, Polygon reported.
