New "Tekken 7" updates will reveal new fighters in the roster, a PC version of the game and a rumored February 2016 launch.
Bandai Namco announced an updated version of "Tekken 7" called "Tekken 7: Fated Retribution" during the finals of The King of Iron Fist Tournament event. The new version of the game featured a new insight on the ongoing Mishima family feud, as well as a special guest character Akuma from the "Street Fighter" game franchise.
Akuma in "Tekken 7" will use some of his famous moves sets from "Street Fighter" games such as the Goshoryuken, Gohadouken and the Raging Demon. It is revealed in "Fated Retribution" that Kazumi Mishima requested Akuma to kill Heihachi in order to stop the chaos prior to the events of the first game, to which the latter agreed to as payment for his debt on her. Tekken 7: Fated Retribution" also features updated graphics, locations and new looks for characters Bryan, Asuka, Xiaoyu, Lili, King, Feng Wei and Leo, DualShockers reported.
Aside from "Tekken 7: Fated Retribution" announcement, game creator Katsuhiro Harada teased a possible PC version of the game when he tweeted an answer to a fan on Twitter saying that they have read the fan's request. Harada added that the latest version of "Tekken 7" will be implemented on the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One consoles as well as new character announcements soon.
Some of the rumored characters added in "Tekken 7's" roster include Eliza, Nina, Anna, Kuma, Jun Kazama, Kunimitsu and Bob. Several fans debated whether they want to see Slim Bob or the overweight Bob in "Tekken 7", Venture Capital Post reported.

Bandai Namco wanted an early release of the game in order to get ahead of the competition and February happens to be the launch date also of "Street Fighter 5". Another reason could be that Bandai Namco will likely work on "Tekken X Street Fighter" next year and having Akuma in "Tekken 7" could be a little preview for the next crossover project.
The game's roster so far is consist of in, Kazuya, Heihachi, Asuka, Lili, Hwoarang, Steve Fox, Paul Phoenix, Marshall Law, Dragunov, Feng Wei, Bryan Fury, Yoshimitsu, King, Lars, Alisa, Leo, Xiaoyu, Josie Rizal, Claudio Serafino, Katarina Alves, Lucky Chloe, Shaheen, Gigas, Jack-7 and Kazumi Mishima.
