New details for "The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt" revealed regarding a January 2016 launch of the Patch 1.12 and "Blood and Wine" expansion, as well as Vilgerfortz inclusion and RedKit 3 Mod leaked.
It seems that CD Projekt RED is planning on releasing "The Witcher 3's" latest expansion "Blood and Wine" in the early months of 2016 around January-June and Community Manager Marci Momot is encouraging gaming fans to send their request and feedbacks to develop the new expansion.
The "Blood and Wine" expansion is set on the region of Touissant were in Geralt will be exploring the lands that have not been touched by war and death, but behind its peaceful atmosphere lies an dark and terrifying secret.
Momot stated will have a new game feature will be added unique only to "Blood and Wine", which is similar to the Rune Words and it will have at least 20 hours of gameplay than "Hearts of Stone". CD Projekt RED added that the Patch 1.12 update could also be included in "Blood and Wine", although the game developers have not yet revealed its perks and features, International Business Time reported.
"Blood and Wine" expansion will also add new characters that are not yet introduced in "The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt" such as the Dutchess of Touissant Anna Henriatta and the evil sorcerer Vilgefortz. Anna Henriatta's cousin Fringello Vigo will be returning to the expansion and could possibly be one of Geralt's many lovers in the game.
New monsters are also introduced in "Blood and Wine" such as Stringas, Bruxas and Manticores, as well as a new ModKit for the game.
However, several reports claim that the new ModKit has been leaked online and CD Projekt RED is current;y investigating the matter.
The package was named "RedKit 3" and it has been found in the popular PC modding website Nexux mods, yesterday morning. The download link has been removed from the website, but it did not stop experienced users from taking advantage of the situation and deduce its former contents.
CD Projekt RED made a statement earlier following the leaked RedKit 3 content explaining that they did not launch any content that came from them and they are currently investigating the issue. The game developers urge gaming fans to stay tuned for further updates, Design&Trend reported.
"The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt" is currently available in stores for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC platforms.
