New "Assassin's Creed: Syndicate" details will feature a VR gameplay trailer, as well as the release date for the "Jack the Ripper" DLC for the PC.
Ubisoft launched the new DLC storyline for "Assassin's Creed: Syndicate" which features London's legendary serial killer, Jack the Ripper. The Jack the Ripper DLC is available this week for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One consoles for only $14.99 or in the game's season pass for $29.99, while the PC version of the expansion will be available on Dec. 22.
The "Jack the Ripper" storyline is set 20 years after the main game as the assassin Evie Frye returns to London after her training with another assassin group in India. She is then summoned back by his twin brother, Jacob and together they will embark on a new case involving the legendary serial killer, IDigital Times reported.
Ubisoft has added new gameplay features and missions for the "Jack the Ripper" DLC which includes the Last Maharaja missions, A Long Night Missions, Streets of London pack, Two-top tier sets of weapons and gears and Exclusive XP boost. The Last Maharaja mission will feature the twins helping Duleep Signh in completing ten missions as he reclaims his honor and place as Maharaja, while A Long Night Missions will have Jacob track down a fellow gang member and bring him back to their hide out in a wild and dangerous ride.
The Streets of London pack will feature new missions, extra content, weapons, gears and outfits. Gamers can also receive the Steampunk and Victorian Legends packs.
Ubisoft also launched a new game trailer which features virtual reality style gameplay with 360 degree vision. The two minute trailer will see gamers play the game in a first-person point of view as the Frye siblings try to capture Jack the Ripper, The Verge reported.
"Assassin's Creed: Syndicate" is currently available for the PS4, Xbox One and PC platforms.
