Current league leaders Inter Milan (11-2-3, 36 points) will look to extend their winning run in the 2015-2016 Serie A season to three games as they square off with reeling team SS Lazio (6-8-2, 20 points) at the Stadio Giuseppe Meazza in San Siro on December 20th, Sunday.
Inter dominated lowly club Udinese, 4-0, during their last match at the Stadio Friuli last Saturday to keep its top spot in the league table, as per USA Today.
Team captain Mauro Icardi led I Nerazzurri with a double at the 23rd and 83rd minutes while teammates Stevan Jovetic and Marcelo Brozovic each added a goal at the 31st and 86th respectively to complete the four-goal haul of Roberto Mancini's side.
The win allowed Internazionale to increase their lead to four points in the overall standings as Fiorentina and Napoli are tied with 32 points each behind the present league leaders.
Meanwhile, Lazio had been winless in their last six matches with their most recent game ending in a 1-1 draw against Sampdoria on Monday at the Stadio Olimpico in Rome, as reported by SkySports.
It was a tough match with La Samp as both teams went scoreless almost the whole game except in the last 12 minutes of the match when Lazio forward Alessandro Matri was able to score the opening goal.
However, Le Aquile's lead would not stay as Sampdoria was able to equalize the game in injury time via a left-footed shot by Ervin Zukanovic off a free kick.
The prediction is Inter Milan over Lazio, 3-0.
