MacBook Pro 2016 release may materialize soon as the laptop was reportedly spotted on CBS's "60 Minutes".
According to Australia Network News, the MacBook Pro 2016 made an appearance in a segment of "60 Minutes," which featured a tour inside Apple's genius designer John Ive's design studio. Ive is Apple's Chief Design Officer reporting directly to CEO Tim Cook. He is responsible for all the designs at Apple as well as the look and feel of Apple devices.
In a shot during the interview with the Apple's designer, a MacBook was sitting on a desk behind Apple's Bruce Sewell. This immediately started the rumors on the imminent release of the 15-inch MacBook Pro 2016.
Eagle-eyed Apple fans claimed that the said device in the video is nothing like the current model as it appears "much sleeker". Moreover, it has a Jupiter wallpaper, which is on iPad Pro's promotional images.
Previous reports claimed that the new MacBook Air and Pro 2016 will be released in June 2016 at the company's annual Worldwide Developers' Conference, while others claimed that the device will be released in October.
Meanwhile, some of the rumored features of MacBook Pro 2016 are Intel Skylake-U chipset paired with a more powerful RAM, Type-C USB port, Force Touch technology and improved battery life.
The new generation of the MacBook will reportedly come in 13-inch and 15-inch screen variants with a thinner profile and most recent OS X operating system, following the price point of the previous models.
The Cupertino-based company has not confirmed the ongoing rumors.
