Deaf model and "Switched at Birth" actor Nyle DiMarco has been busy since winning "America's Next Top Model" Cycle 22. Recently, he was in Vietnam to promote OPPO, the official phone partner of "ANTM."
On Dec. 21, Monday, DiMarco announced on his Facebook page that he was in Vietnam. He wrote, "I'm back in Hoi An, Vietnam after five years! I just learned something new, check the video out! TeaHouse address: 131 Tran Phu, Hoi An OPPO Vietnam OPPO America's Next Top Model #ANTM #Deaf."
Prior to this, the deaf "Switched at Birth" actor also posted a photo of himself promoting OPPO in Indonesia. He captioned it, "In Jakarta, Indonesia we had an exclusive (VIP) party with OPPO. I made sure that the organizers would invite Deaf Indonesians. And they came! It's not a VIP party until there are Deaf people!!"
Winning "ANTM" Cycle 22, DiMarco defeated Mikey Heverly, Southern belle Lacey Rogers and Miss USA fourth runner-up Mame Adjei, among others. The deaf model and actor is also the last winner of the modelling competition show created by Banks.
In a recent interview with Perez Hilton, DiMarco shared that the most rewarding shoot he had in "ANTM" Cycle 22 was the one he had with a husky. He pointed out that had clothes on during that shoot, as opposed to the usual shoots that feature him shirtless, which made him feel like he can actually be a model for brands.
While DiMarco is in Vietnam promoting OPPO, the Chinese electronics manufacturer introduces two new smartphones in Kenya, the OPPO R7s and the Neo 7, according to Standard Media. The earlier is the OPPO flagship product in Kenya.
