"Minecraft" was finally made available in Wii U platform on Dec. 17 after a long time of waiting. "Minecraft" was known to be one of the successful Indie games that is also available in many platforms.
According to Forbes, "Minecraft" Wii U includes DLC Packs and new gamepad controller. The game only cost $30 compare to the usual price of $60, a higher seling point for most other platform. The building-block-game was also reported to have been the first game on Wii U's system to help promote the Wii U's gamepad controls.
"Minecraft" bundle will include six most popular add-on contents like "The Simpsons" and "Dr. Who" and available on e-shop to download.
Owen Hill, director of creative communications at Mojang, also working on "Minecraft," said that they will add more content in Wii U Edition in the future like the other platforms. They will also offer free update for the core game.
The game edition also features off-TV play so that player can continue playing in game pad. The number of players is up to eight in its action and adventure category, MOJANG reported.
Wii U is destined to be replaced by the NX console and was planned to make it on holiday 2016. The supported languages for "Minecraft" are available in English, Traditional Chinese, German, Spanish, Dutch, Portuguese, Italian, French, Japanese, Korean, Russian and Simplified Chinese.
"Minecraft" is first made available on platforms such as Raspberry Pi, OS X, Linux, Windows Phone, Android, Xbox 360, PS Vista, PS4, PS3 and Xbox One.
