Apple iPhone 7 that will release next year will come with waterproofing properties and upgraded design.
Rumors coming from China have claimed that the iPhone 7 will be coming with a refreshing design. The rear panel of previously released iPhones has been sporting antenna stripes. However, fresh information suggests that the plastic stripes will not be available on the upcoming iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus models. This will let Apple to improve the appeal of the next generation iPhones, DigiTimes reported.
The Apple iPhone 7 and 7 Plus will be coming with waterproof chassis. The chassis will be largely manufactured by Catcher Technology. A patent filing of 'electronic device with hidden connector" with U.S. Patent and Trademark Office has revealed that the iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 chassis will be equipped with self-healing elastomers, Apple Insider reported.
The self-healing elastomer will prevent from water or dust from entering inside the iPhone. It will be available for all the connector ports on the upcoming iPhones. It will work in such a way that inserting a headphone pin in the earphone jack will cause the elastomer to break. Removing the headphone pin from the slot will result in re-sealing the elastomer.
The iPhone 6S and iPhone 6S Plus are fitted with waterproof logic board. The same sort logic boards are also expected to arrive on the iPhone 7 and 7 Plus smartphones.
Rumors are rife that iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus will be coming with 4.7-inch and 5.5-inch screens, respectively. Other features include Apple A10 SoC and 2 GB of RAM. Both the handsets are likely to sport the same 12 MP cameras that are available on the current iPhones.
The rumor mill is also talking about the iPhone 6C smartphone. The mass production of the iPhone 6C will begin in January 2016. Fresh speculations suggest that it will be announced in March 2016 and it will be available for purchase by April 2016.
