The Huawei MediaPad M2 10.0 may be released soon in the United States with its clearing the FCC. It may have to take on with the iPad Mini 4 in order for its sales to succeed.
Here is a comparison between the two tablets:
- Design
When it comes to design, the MediaPad M2 10.0 comes with great features and a premium look with its metal body sandblasted finish. It also has speakers on the device, as innovated by Harman Kardon, to ensure that users get good reproduction of sound on it. The premium edition of the tablet comes with a stylus and a fingerprint scanner.
The iPad Mini 4 is a smaller device with a similar metal build and curved edges for a beautiful look and feel. The fingerprint scanner of the Apple tablet is integrated in its home buttons. As to colors, The iPad Mini 4 comes in gold, silver and gray, while the MediaPad M2 10.0 comes in silver and gold.
- Display
The MediaPad M2 10.0 comes with a bigger screen of 10.1-inches LCD display and 1200x1920P resolution. The iPad Mini 4 comes with a smaller screen of 7.9-inches LCD display and 1536x2048P resolution.
- Specs
The iPad Mini 4 is packed with an Apple chipset with PowerVR GPU and a dual-core CPU. The other tablet has a Hisilicon Kirin chipset with Mali GPU and octa-core CPU.
- Memory
It is not confirmed whether the MediaPad M2 10.0 includes a memory slot, which is not found in an iPad Mini 4. However, the Apple device has 2GB RAM, while the other device offers 2GB or 3GB RAM.
- Price
In terms of price, the iPad Mini 4 comes cheaper at a price of $399, while the Huawei MediaPad M2 10.0 costs $419.
