Tribal Football indicated that the Nanjing residents are keen on making a move for the 29-year-old Stamford Bridge loan flop, who is still officially signed with Ligue 1 squad AS Monaco since May 2013.

Falcao had been on loan to Manchester United during the 2014-2015 season and now with the defending Premier League champs, and he has not shown his best form in both stints so far.

The report cited Spanish media outlet Deportes RCN, saying that "the Chinese outfit are prepared to pay part of Falcao's £265,000-a-week wages in order to lure him to Jiangsu".

SB Nation noted that the Colombia national team captain's astronomical salary demand is "one of the major difficulties found by Monaco" in searching for a club that would permanently acquire him. The Blues and the Red Devils are said to be just willing to pay a part of his salary, which is why only a terms on loan is being accepted.

However, with Chinese clubs keen on luring international players to play in Asia this year and beyond thru the use of their vast finances, Monaco could take advantage of the offer and permanently sell the Santa Marta, Colombia native to Jiangsu this time around.

Falcao has been awful with the Fulham, London residents this season, appearing in only nine games so far and scoring a lonesome goal. It was a huge drop in form from his glory days with Portugal's FC Porto and Italy's Atletico Madrid where he scored 72 goals in 87 games for the Portuguese club and 70 goals in 91 games for the Italian capital city squad.

Rumors have emerged that Falcao will be gone from England by the time the winter transfer window expires on Monday.
