"Grey's Anatomy" season 12 will see Alex (Justin Chambers), Maggie (Kelly McCreary) and Callie (Sara Ramirez) feuding with each other.
In the teasers released for episode 9, fans have already learned the fate of Meredith Grey (Ellen Pompeo) after she was attacked by her patient.
However, not much is known about the other characters on the hit ABC series except that they will all attend to Meredith's needs to make sure she survives the attack.
According to Cartermatt, "Grey's Anatomy" season 12, episode 10 will see Callie and Maggie performing a risky and experimental surgery on Alex's 15-year-old patient.
Unfortunately, the two female doctors will do so without Alex's knowledge, and when the latter finds out, the three of them will certainly butt heads.
Callie and Maggie both believe that performing the surgery was a necessary move to give the patient a second chance at life. However, Alex will argue that it's very risky and could cost his patient's life.
Meanwhile, "All I Want Is You" will also see Owen (Kevin McKidd) and Nathan (Martin Henderson) still feuding over their past.
In the fall finale episode for season 12, it was revealed that Owen has a sister, and he is pissed at Nathan for not treating her right.
According to multiple reports, Owen's sister will guest-star on the show in episode 14.
In a previous interview with The Hollywood Reporter, McKidd said that he is very happy with the team's decision to give his character a backstory.
"I feel really honored that they'd want to give Owen a backstory and explore that and that the writers are invested in the characters as much as I am to want to give them that," he said.
In other news, "Grey's Anatomy" season 12, episode 10 will also see Maggie and Andrew (Giacomo Gianniotti) exploring the next level of their relationship.
In the past, the two characters already agreed not to hook up with each other.
However, only a few days passed and they hooked up once again. Now, Maggie and Andrew will gauge whether or not they can get into an actual relationship.
"Grey's Anatomy" season 12 will return to ABC on Feb. 11 at 8 p.m. ET.
