To be launched this year is the manga "Boruto," which will be drawn by Mikio Ikemoto, the assistant of Masashi Kishimoto - the creator and supervisor of the original "Naruto." As the title implies, the manga will revolve around Boruto, Naruto's son.

A few number of fans fear that if Kishimoto writes the series, it will turn out not ideal. However, this is a great chance for the show to return to its original roots when it revolved mainly around fascinating ninja battles and character development for a powerful story.

The creator Kishimoto will not be immediately involved, but only serve as the supervisor of the story. Instead, he is planning to work on a new sci-fi manga.

"Boruto" will be posted in Weekly Shonen Jump this spring, as posted in Saiyan Island. However, this manga will only be posted once each month, unlike "Naruto" which was featured weekly in the magazine.

Many avid fans are interested to see how the writers will try to portray Boruto's character. His character should be original in his own right. In the movie, he showed no aspirations like his father when he was a child. This is definitely a good sign as Boruto is a new view to the series. Though he may be a genius, his fighting style is somewhat similar to those of his father Naruto.

It's essential that in the new series, Boruto will develop his own character with his own techniques and Jutsu. He needs to live up to his status as a genius, which is somewhat similar to Neji and Sasuke in the first series. He is more different than Shadow Clone Jutsu or Rasengan. He combines in his lightning element some smooth fighting styles.

So let's keep watch till the release of the next "Naruto" spin-off.
