"Hawaii Five-0" Season 6 will not be airing any new segment this week. The CBS police procedural resumes the run after a brief hiatus with episode 14 on Feb. 12. The forthcoming segment is titled "Hoa 'inea," which translates to "Misery Loves Company." Here are spoilers for the next chapter of the series. Episode 14 of Season 6 will be a special Valentine's Day-themed segment, "Hawaii Five-0" showrunner Peter Lenkov told TV Guide. It is said that the forthcoming segment will explore agents' love lives.
The network has released a brief summary for the highly-anticipated episode. According to Spoiler TV's description for "Hoa 'inea," the task force of Hawaii returns to work and investigate a double murder case. Upon investigation, it is discovered that the homicide involves marital infidelity.
It is Valentine's Day and all the teammates recall their Valentine's Day experiences which may not be too pleasant. The team discusses their horrendous relationship experiences.
In addition, the episode will feature four songs by Grammy Award-winning band Coldplay. The songs will be band's latest numbers, including "Adventure of a Lifetime," "Amazing Day," "Birds" and "Everglow," from the recently released album "A Head Full of Dreams."
"As we started writing the Valentine's Day episode, that album basically became our soundtrack and we knew we wanted to use their music to illustrate what was happening with our Ohana. These songs were just a perfect fit," Lenkov stated (via Cartermatt).
