Here is some good news. Google Nexus 2016 release will happen soon as Nexus 9 tablet and Nexus 6 smartphone receive huge discounts.

At present, the online retailer Amazon is offering the 32 GB Nexus 6 smartphone for $349.99. The initial price of the smartphone was $649.99.

For starters, Google Nexus 6 smartphone was released in October 2014. It has a 5.96-inch screen with a resolution of 1440 pixels x 2560 pixels.

The Nexus 6 smartphone, which weighs 184 grams, packs a 3220mAh non removable battery. It measures 82.98mm x 159.26mm x 10.06mm.

The device is powered by 2.7GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 805 chipset. Furthermore, Google Nexus 6 has 32GB of internal storage that cannot be expanded. The handset has 3GB of RAM and a 2-megapixel front camera for selfies and a 13-megapixel primary camera on the back, according to a Digital Trends report.

Also, Amazon is offering the 32 GB Nexus 9 tablet for $359. The initial price of the tablet was $479.99.

Google Nexus 9 tablet, which was released in October 2014, features an 8.9-inch screen with a resolution of 2048 pixels x 1536 pixels.

The device packs a 6700mAh non removable battery, according to a Slash Gear report. The Nexus 9 weighs 425 grams and measures 153.68mm x 228.25mm x 7.95mm.

It is powered by 2.3GHz dual-core Nvidia Tegra K1 chipset and it comes with 2GB of RAM. The tablet has 16GB of internal storage that cannot be expanded. Google Nexus 9 sports a 1.6-megapixel front camera for selfies and a 8-megapixel primary camera on the back.

Meanwhile, rumor has it that Google Nexus 2016 will release in May at the company's annual I/O Developers' Conference. However, according to some reports, the handset will be released in October 2016.

Rumors are doing the rounds that HTC will manufacture the new Nexus handset. According to reports, the  HTC Nexus 2016 devices will be called T55 and T50. The T50 will feature a 5-inch screen, whereas the T55 will sport a 5.5-inch display.

It is expected that Google Nexus 2016 will run with the forthcoming Android N operating system. The software giant Google has not disclosed any information about the upcoming device, therefore, take these rumors with a pinch of salt.
