With less than a month until "The Bachelor" 2016 finale, everyone is at the edge of their seats, wondering who Ben Higgins will choose as the winner. The Bachelor Nation is also eager to find out more about what to expect from Higgins after Season 20. Multiple reports suggest that the bachelor will be following Chris Soules' footsteps and join the cast of "Dancing with the Stars" 2016.

It did not come as a surprise when several outlets speculated that Higgins will be part of "Dancing with the Stars" 2016 after "The Bachelor" Season 20 finale. After all two out of the recent "The Bachelor" stars, Soules and Sean Lowe, were part of "DWTS." Jake Pakelva and Trista Sutter also joined the reality dance competition.

Speaking to E! News in December, Higgins admitted that he is open to the possibility of joining "Dancing with the Stars" 2016. The reality star shared that he is just happy and excited about what is yet to come in his career. He explained that he never thought he would join "The Bachelorette" and eventually become the next Bachelor.

"I don't want to chance my life, but if there's opportunity to enhance it, I'm all for it!" Higgins said.

While it seems like Higgins is all for joining "Dancing with the Stars" Season 22, fans of "The Bachelor" are starting to worry that his relationship with the winner (aka Lauren Bushnell according to Reality Steve) will be in jeopardy.

Given that Soules' hectic schedule was allegedly one of the reasons why he and Whitney Bischoff decided to end their engagement, it's fairly understandable where the fans are coming from. It also did not help that Soules was partnered with the beautiful Witney Carson, which reportedly made Bischoff jealous.

According to Carter Matt, there are, however, advantages to having Higgins join "Dancing with the Stars" 2016. The outlet held that joining the reality dance competition will open up a lot of doors for him including endorsement opportunities. It was said that Higgins can make good money on the show, enough for him and his future wife to start a family.

"Dancing with the Stars" 2016 premieres March 21 on ABC.
