"Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice" will feature the film's possible run time, Darkseid role and two new trailers featuring the Metroplis and Gotham City.
Two new trailers for "Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice" were revealed during the "Super Bowl 50" event and the videos were actually tie-in commercials for Turkish Airline. The videos highlights two famous cities in the DC comics, Metroplis and Gotham City, The Hollywood Reporter reported.
For die-hard comic fans, Metrolpolis is where Clark Kent/Superman (Henry Cavill) currently resides, while Gotham City is Bruce Wayne/Batman's (Ben Affleck) territory. The Metropolis highlight several locations such as the Daily Planet, Superman's statue and LexCorp, which is run and owned by Lex Luthor (Jesse Eisenberg). The advertisements tells the viewers that city has been reborn and rebuilt following the destruction it suffered at the hands of General Zod (Michael Shannon) and his forces in "Man of Steel" film. Lex Luthor has funded to the city's constructions of its many buildings and streets in the aftermath of Superman's fight with Zod.
The Gotham City promo offers a new take on how the city has risen above its dark history as the video shows many buildings being recontructed and famous landmarks such as Ace Chemicals and the Gotham City Opera House. Bruce Wayne and his company Wayne Enterprises is responsible for restoring the city's image, making it more safe for its citizens.
In other news, the possible movie run time for "Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice" has bee revealed as Middle East cinema, Vox Cinemas wrote o their official website that the film will run for 160 minutes. "Man of Steel"running time was about 2 hours and 28 minutes in length.
Aside from the film's run time, Moviepilot writer Mr. J theorized how Darkseid could be teased in "Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice" and it has to do with the presents of Diana Prince/Wonder Woman (Gal Gadot) in the movie.
Wonder Woman in the movie will be searching for a weapon to destroy Darkseid in LexCorp as Lex Luthor may have been developing something powerful to combat the likes of Superman. During her search she is drawn into the conflict with Batman and Superman, which is hatched by Luthor himself.
During the dinner party scene, Batman as Bruce Wayne tries to sway Wonder Woman and deduced that she is looking for something in LexCorp. Diana receives a vision of the future were in the Earth is ravaged by Darkseid's forces and Batman is one of the remaining survivors in the planet.
Batman and his allies will raid a weapons compound but was caught by Superman's forces thus. When Wonder Woman wakes up from her vision, she tends to warn both heroes of the coming threat and tries to put aside both their differences in order to save the world.
"Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice" will be release in cinemas on March 25.
