Car lovers and interested buyers are flocking the Reno Auto Show at the Reno-Sparks Convention Center. People can not only admire the vehicles on display, but can also purchase and drive them off from the show.

The "show and sale" is the largest of Reno in the past 30 years, KTVN reported. The show's producer, Jimmy Minor, said that one can buy a car on display and "drive it away." There are 19 dealers from the area who are showcasing their best cars.

It is expected that the 2015 auto sales will be the highest in 10 years since 2005. About 17 million cars are projected to be sold in the year and will result in more than $550 billion in revenue from vehicles.

"I think there's a consumer confidence and we feel it," said Reno Buick GMC Cadillac Director of Marketing Doreen Hicks.

Even if onlookers do not buy a car at the Reno Auto Show, it will still boost sales for the rest of 2015 as local dealerships show-off their vehicles at the show.

Acura Reno General Manager Jin Lee said that people are researching the varying car models and will buy one "down the road."

The Reno Auto Show not only features gasoline-run cars, but there are also hybrid and electric vehicles on display as well.

The show's organizers are expecting about 12,000 people may visit the car show before it ends on Sunday, the Reno-Gazette Journal reported. The admission to the show is free, but parking space costs $8.
