“The 100” Season 3 episode 4, titled “Watch the Throne” will deal with the aftermath of Bellamy (Bob Morley) losing Gina (Leah Gibson). It will also feature a possible reconciliation between Clarke (Eliza Taylor) and Lexa (Alycia Debnam-Carey).

In episode 3, titled "Ye Who Enter Here," viewers mourned the loss of Gina after the Ice Nation Grounders attacked Mount Weather. Bellamy made the wrong decision of trusting the wrong person, which ultimately lead to her death.

In the coming episode, Pike (Michael Beach) tries to convince Bellamy to join his fight against the Grounders.

In an interview with TV Line, "The 100" executive producer Jason Rothenberg admitted that they knew all along that Bellamy and Gina's relationship would not survive. He explained that Bellamy's grief will play a pivotal role come season 3. He hinted that it will push him to join the anit-Grounders.

"He already has no affection for that culture, unlike Octavia, but I wanted there to be that one thing that would justify him really taking up the mantle of 'all Grounders are bad,'" Rothenberg shared.

The showrunner added that Pike's influence will further reinforce Bellamy's decision. He hinted that the coming episodes, beginning "Watch the Throne," will be difficult to watch for fans of Bellamy, who wanted him to be "perfect." Rothenberg, however, held that Bellamy will not be turning into his old self. This time around, he is not only thinking about himself but finding ways to defend his people.

Meanwhile, Rothenberg also hinted that Clexa shippers will have something to look forward to in the coming episodes of "The 100" Season 3. When Clarke tried to kill Lexa in the last episode, fans thought that all love is lost between them. Rothenberg, however, shared that there just might be hope for the two, pointing out that Clarke did not have the guts to kill Lexa.

"There's no doubt that Clarke feels tremendous amounts of attraction towards Lexa, but it's something she's still resisting. As you saw, when she tried to kill her this week, she couldn't; there's something too strong there for her to fight," he explained.
