According to reports, HTC One M10 will be available from May 9 in the United States. Also, the upcoming smartphone is expected to come with upgraded hardware and design in comparison to HTC One M9.
According to a tweet from Evan Blass, Chinese manufacturer HTC will release the new smartphone in the week of May 9. Reports also suggest that the company may release a smartwatch in April.
It is expected that the Android Wear smartwatch will sport a premium design. Rumor has it that the smartwatch may be called as HTC One Watch.
HTC unveiled the One M9 smartphone at Mobile World Congress in February last year. The device weighs 157g, measures 144.6mm x 69.7mm x 9.6mm and sports a dual-tone metal build. The HTC One M9 comes with BoomSound front-facing speakers.
Rumors are doing the rounds that the One M10 will have the same measurements as the One M9. Various reports suggest that the HTC M10 will not come with BoomSound speakers. However, the handset will offer a high-quality DAC and with support for MQA.
Also, the HTC M10 is expected to feature a fingerprint sensor on the front capacitive button.
Furthermore, the One M9 sports a 5-inch full HD LCD display. On the other hand, the One M10 is expected to feature a 5.1-inch or 5.2-inch display. The screen to body ratio on the upcoming smartphone will be better than the HTC One M9.
Reports suggest that the resolution will increase to Quad HD and an AMOLED panel will be used. Users can anticipate a better display experience on the new smartphone over HTC One M9 with clearer and sharper images due to the increased pixel density.
If a 5.1-inch screen appears, the device will offer a 576ppi. If a 5.2-inch screen appears, the smartphone will offer a 565ppi.
The One M9 smartphone is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 chipset. Furthermore, the device has a 2840mAh battery, 32GB of internal storage and 3GB of RAM.
The One M10 will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor, according to a CNET report. In addition, the smartphone is expected have a 3000mAh battery, 32GB of internal storage and 4GB of RAM.
