Previous reports indicate that gaming fans can expect the Pokémon Z on release date to be bannered by familiar and new pocket monsters like Zygarde, Volcanion and a fresh character intro Magiana. The augmented reality-centric Pokémon GO, on the other hand, is all but confirmed via the GDC 2016 this coming March.

While Zygarde has been long rumored as the headline Pokémon Z character, other Mons are also said to make the upcoming game title even more interesting and most of the add-ons were seen before with the Pokémon X and Y installments. If Zygarde is destined to impress with the incredible ability to morph into various characters, which rumors said is the chief reason the character is the key element of the game, Volcanion will surely bring forward excitement with elemental attributes of fire and water.

Now it should be noted that details on Zygarde and Volcanion have been generously hinted by past few issues of Japanese manga CoroCoro and in the February edition, a character unseen before is likely to become part of Generation 7 of the Pokémon as well of the Pokémon Z.

Identified by iDigitalTimes as Magiana, the upcoming Mon is a 500-year-old Pokémon that has intimate connection with Volcanion, which makes sense why the character has a solid chance of unpacking with Pokémon Z. The latest cover of the CoroCoro magazine (viewable here) showed Magiana as a silhouette.

But a clear image of the newest Pokémon also accompanied the same iDigitalTimes story, which sourced the pic from blog site Serebii.net. Magiana and Volcanion are to watch in the Z series as the latter is the one who holds the secrets that Magiana will gradually spill.

The report, however, dropped a major spoiler - that Magiana is a creation of "human hands."

Meanwhile, the designed for AR Pokémon GO appears all set for uncloaking on March with Nintendo and co-developer Niantic Labs seen inclined to use the GDC 2016 as launch platform. On its official site, Niantic has announced that the game is scheduled for a demo with company CEO John Hanke taking a lead during the presentation.

There was no categorical mention of a March 2016 release date schedule for Pokémon GO but the real-world game, which will rollout as free mobile download for gamers in Android and iOS, will likely touchdown earlier than that of Pokémon Z. As the latter reportedly remains in development phase, a launch date in the first six months of 2016 seems unlikely for now.
