Baccarin, who plays Wade's girlfriend in the movie "Deadpool" is pregnant in real life but is known to deliver at any point of time. Reynolds plays Wade Wilson, the mercenary. The lovemaking scene of Baccarin and Reynolds that are romantic for audience are not so well received by the lead actors of the movie.

While, "Homeland" star found rescue in tequila shots, Reynolds kept inputting his puns to make the filming not hard on him. Baccarin is playing a prostitute who has fallen for Wade and an entire love scene was shot within a day.

According to People Magazine, Reynolds revealed that the lovemaking scenes of "Deadpool" were far from romantic. Reynolds further revealed that it was a year worth of sex. Reynolds added further expressing on how the scene will be perceived over big screen, "There's a rather large, grandiose sex montage in the movie, but it's not as titillating as it is just funny and horrifying at times," The Fix reported.

Baccarin has admitted that tequila shots did help and she just went with the flow to perform sex scenes. "Deadpool" is tongue-in-cheek humor that sets it apart from most of the superhero movies till date. The movie is based on a character from the Marvel Comics, who is also a part of "X-Men" films.

Interestingly, a sequel to the movie is already in the works. Director Tim Miller has yet not been signed for the sequel but Fox seems keen on keeping the creative team intact for "Deadpool 2." The budget for "Deadpool" was estimated to be $58 million and has so far received $282 million from the worldwide box-office. Baccarin was last seen in "Batman: Bad Blood." Reynolds will be next seen in an upcoming action thriller "Criminal," expected to hit the theatres in April 2016.
