Rockstar North, the developer and publisher of "GTA Liberty City Stories" Android version, announced the title a couple of months after it was released on Apple Store. Nevertheless, it is believed that the Android version of the game is better compared to the iOS version.

Different from the original "Liberty City Stories," which was released for the PlayStation (PSP) in October 2005, the latest Android version of the game been customized to suit mobile gamers. Unlike other Android "GTA" titles, the Android version of "GTA Liberty City Stories" is not a direct port, IB Times reported.

The new Android game offers high-resolution graphics, shadows, real-time lighting, improved draw distance and touch gameplay, Google Play Store states describing the game. In addition, the game features rebalanced controls for touch-based gaming, physical controller support, and cross-platform cloud saves thru the Rockstar Social Club.

The missions in the "GTA Liberty City Stories" Android version are smaller and more updated. However, it continues to be the same fun, passionate, open-world adventure mobile game. It is certainly free-roam, denoting that players are free to go anywhere.

The game requires players to help Toni Cipriani bring the city under control. There is turmoil and crime everywhere and players will be required to deal with various problems like union strikes and drug trafficking, in addition to tackle various types of men.

All these men will always try to put players amidst criminals, drug traffickers, desperate business magnates and politicians. In addition, players are likely to see Toni's mother now and then and she may prove to be a cause of their headache.

Meanwhile, "GTA Liberty City Stories" is certainly not the only Android app launched by Rockstar North. In fact, earlier they released several other "GTA" games including "Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas" "Grand Theft Auto: Vice City," and "Grand Theft Auto III 10 Year Anniversary Edition."
