It is now official that "The Elder Scroll 6" (TES 6) will not happen anytime soon. Pete Hine, the vice president of Public Relations and marketing at Bethesda Softworks, said that they will not be developing "TES 6" until all "Fallout 4" DLCs are done.

In a previous interview with the Telegraph, Hine had confirmed that "TES 6" is in development. All speculations that "TES 6" will be based on "Morrowind" or "Oblivion" are now debunked.

During the interview, Hine said, "It's rare to have franchises like the ones we have and to have people joking about 'when is Skyrim 2 coming out?' The reason they say that is because generally speaking that's what you'd be getting with another publisher in charge."

According to Hine, some developer companies would split out a "Skyrim 2" the year after or two years later. The move is unlike Bethesda, which does not focus on what is are the 25 titles for 2015.

Hine added that Bethesda does smaller stuff as opposed to publishing to scale, but try to publish to quality.

The vice president said, "Make sure everything we do is noteworthy. Our approach to that hasn't differed. Here and there we might change our approach to how it's presented but we've still stuck to who we are."

In a recent interview with DaulShockers at the 2015 Gamescom, Hine clarified that "TES 6" or "Skyrim 2" will not be happening anytime soon. According to the publication, Hine pointed out that he does not think fans are close to hear about the next Elder Scrolls. Bethesda is currently working on "Fallout 4," and that take the entire studio, which is focused 100 percent on the game.

Since Bethesda does not split teams to work on different games, fans should expect to hear about "TES 6" by 2017. Furthermore, Bethesda has a tradition of releasing a new "Elder Scrolls" after every four years, which points towards a 2019 release for "TES 6."

With regard to the location of the game, there is still a discussion between Elsweyr and Valenwood. The title of "TES 6" may be "Argonia," "Redguard," or simply "Skyrim 2."
