With the success of "Deadpool" film in the box office, Fox might be planning to have their "X-Men" spin-off films like "Wolverine 3" and "X-Force" to have R-rating statuses riding the success it had with the Merc with the Mouth's solo film.

An interesting take since Fox launched a Blu-Ray uncut version of "The Wolverine" film several years ago and having rated R style film could give Jackman an impressive performance as Logan/Wolverine for the last sequel before retiring the character for good.

"Wolverine 3's" plot will based from Mark Miller and Steve McNiven's comic book storyline, "Old Man Logan" featuring an old and seasoned Wolverine. James Mangold will be directing the film and Jackman teased that Victor Creed/Sabretooth (Liev Schreiber) could be returning to the third instalment.

In other news, Jackman teased another film appearance in "X-Men: Apocalypse" as he stated in an interview that he does not count the number of times "Wolverine" appeared in each "X-Men" sequels and spin-offs, but he was grateful that he had a chance to appear as the feral mutant one last time before "Wolverine 3", Yahoo reported.

Several reports claim that director Bryan Singer made reshoots in Montreal for "X-Men: Apocalypse" and fans speculate that Wolverine might show up in those extra scenes wearing his classic yellow X-Men suit.

So far, no proof was has been given, but they neither discount the rumors. Jackman has two "X-Men" movies left to finished before leaving the "X-Men" franchise that catapulted him to his success in Hollywood.

"Wolverine 3" will be release in cinemas on March 3, 2017.
