The server maintenance is crucial for "Street Fighter 5" in order to have a smooth and successful gameplay especially during online gameplay as the game has been experiencing several problems last weekend. Capcom was able tp temporarily fixed the issues for "Street Fighter 5'" casual and ranked matches allowing players to have a "faster rate" in playing the game.

Capcom added that there are also fixes within the Battle Lounge, as well as newly created Fighter IDs should show in search for about 30 minutes of creating an account, VG 24/7 reported.

In other news, a new game mod for "Street Fighter 5" will allow gamers to bring back R.Mika's infamous butt slap animation in the game courtesy of Reddit username "CENAWINSLOL".

R. Mika's butt slap animation was a source of controversy among gaming fans as Capcom did not include it in the sequel because it was dubbed "unnecessarily sexual" along with Cammy's crotch-shot animation intro.

CENAWINSLOL explained that R. Mika's butt slap animation can be done in the PC version using an re-integrating patch and posted it in a subreddit page called r/Kappa for every fighting game players. CENAWINSLOL added that the mod was far from Capcom's sanctioned decree, thus cautioning PC users to use the animation when playing "Street Fighter 5" online, Gamerant reported.

R. Mika's butt slap animation mod can be downloaded from r/Kappa as it replaces the "censored" animations found within "Street Fighter 5" with original, unaltered animations from the game's beta.

Gaming fans express some criticism over Capcom's decision for removing R. Mika's butt slap calling it "silly" and "unnecessary" as it is part of the character's personality and traits. The animation almost landed "Street Fighter 5" with a Rated M, but Capcom managed to remedy it, which gave the game a Rated T.

Capcom announced that a new DLC story mode will be released in June, while the first DLC fighter, Alex will be available sometime next month. Other DLC characters being teased in "Street Fighter 5" include Guile, Ibuki, Urien, Juri and Balrog.

"Street Fighter 5" is currently available in stores for the PlayStation 4 and the PC platforms.
