It looks like Microsoft made another mistake of leaking their Xbox Live Games with Gold for March 2016. But now, fans should not take this as a mere mistake because Microsoft has already confirmed the rumors.

Primarily spotted on the official Spanish Xbox YouTube page, the games mentioned included the "Lords of the Fallen" and "Sherlock Holmes: Crime and Punishment." Now, Xbox Wire has made it official by announcing the list of their Xbox Live Games that went Gold for their March edition.

The Xbox One backward compatibility feature made it possible for Xbox One and Xbox 360 gamers to fully enjoy previous titles like "Borderlands" and "Supreme Commander 2." The Games with Gold program allows players to take advantage on featured games for a limited time only.

For players who wish to try "Sherlock Holmes: Crime and Punishment," it will be available on Xbox One from March 1 to March 31 for a retail price of $29.99. "Lords of the Fallen," on the other hand, will be available for $39.99 from March 16 - April 15 on the Xbox One console.

Xbox 360 games will be available at a shorter period of time, with "Supreme Commander 2" retailed at $29.99 from March 1 - March 15 only. The "Borderlands" on Xbox 360 will be available from March 16 - March 31 for a retail price of $19.99. Xbox Live Gold members can get these games for free on their scheduled date of release.

On the Major Nelson website, it was also mentioned how Xbox One players have the full advantage of playing the two games available on Xbox 360, through the backward compatibility feature. It was also noted that the titles may also differ depending on the region where they are available in the market.

In the Xbox website, a feature that allows Xbox 360 gamers to start collecting Xbox One games has already been introduced. This program is specially provided to those who have plans of buying Xbox One in the future. The purchased Xbox One games will be available in their consoles until such time they can transition to the Xbox One console.
