"The Big Bang Theory" star Kaley Cuoco undoubtedly had a traumatic time in 2015 when she had to undergo a public split from her husband of nearly two years, Ryan Sweeting.

The 30-year-old was speaking on "The Ellen DeGeneres Show" on Feb. 23, Tuesday, when she became visibly emotional while talking about her short-lived marriage and bitter divorce.

"Yes, I'm getting divorced. You know, last year was very bizarre and we all go through really weird ups and downs," said the actress before further adding that she is in a "much better place" now.

The actress appeared much embarrassed when she was quizzed by DeGeneres how long her relationship with the Tennis star actually lasted. She replied coyly that it was just a year and a half.

Cuoco, who is one of the highest paid actresses on television of the present times, also gave an insight how she managed to hide her "big" wedding date tattoo that she got at the top of her back. She was sporty enough to reveal her back to the camera which showed that her wedding date is now cleverly covered with an unlikely image of a moth since it was "big enough to cover the numbers."

Cuoco and Sweeting got engaged in September 2013 after a whirlwind romance of three months. They famously got married in December 2013. Soon after, it was reported that the pair was not on amicable terms after which they announced their divorce in September 2015.

Meanwhile, rumors were rife that the actress was seeing country singer Sam Hunt. The two were spotted talking animatedly while strolling out of a Grammy party on Feb. 15, Daily Mail reported. However, the actress was quick to shoot down the rumors by poking fun at baseless tabloid headlines.

"If I walked out of the stable with my horse, they would say I'm marrying my horse," the actress told Extra at the party held to celebrate 200th episode of the hit Warner Bros show, "The Big Bang Theory," at Vibiana in Los Angeles recently. C
