In a conference call with reporters on Feb. 26, Friday, Harrison, 44, admitted that he would love to see "The Big Bang Theory" star Kaley Cuoco lead "The Bachelorette" Season 12 (2016). "Kaley would be great," Harrison told E! Online.

"I would love that. She's an old friend of mine from the ABC days, and I think she likes to drink wine as much as I do," Harrison added. The website notes Harrison and Cuoco have worked together on ABC sitcom "8 Simple Rules for Dating My Teenage Daughter."

Is "The Bachelor" spinoff going to undergo a major switch and sign a celebrity to lead "The Bachelorette" Season 12? The television host admits that it is not easy to find a single celebrity to do such shows.

"It's hard to find a good single celebrity anymore," Harrison said.

Cuoco, recently, split from her husband Ryan Sweeting in September 2015. The couple married in December 2013 after dating for six months. The actress is single again and she is back in the dating scene.

However, it is highly unlikely to expect Cuoco take up the role. Meanwhile, speculations suggest that the next bachelorette will be one of the final four contestants from Ben Higgins' "The Bachelor" Season 20. The competition is down to Amanda Stanton, Caila Quinn, JoJo Fletcher, and Lauren Bushnell and one of them could get a second chance at finding true love.

"Amanda would be great, obviously there's three women left that would be great. I know people are talking about Becca...she's a sweet girl, she'd be really good. She'd be a good Bachelorette. There are people that are screaming for Amanda...who knows what will happen with JoJo, Caila and Lauren. We'll see," Harrison said.

In the meantime, Harrison confirmed that the decision about who will be giving the roses next will not be revealed anytime soon. According to him, the producers are looking for "someone who everyone likes."

Previously, "The Bachelorette" creator Mike Fleiss hinted at a possible big switch in Season 12. Speaking to Us Weekly, the showrunner said that they want add "diversity to the cast" and might feature a "woman of colour" in the leading role in its upcoming instalment.

"We're gonna do everything possible to pick the right person and add a little diversity to our cast," Fleiss said.

"The Bachelorette" Season 12 is expected to premiere in May 2016. Stay tuned for more updates and spoilers. Watch a preview of "The Bachelor" episode, below.
